In collaboration with Goethe University Frankfurt, we are developing a virtual classroom for prospective teachers as part of the Digi-Gap research project (funded by the BMBF). In this virtual reality application, they practise conflict resolution in realistic scenarios that simulate everyday school life. The project combines research and practice in order to improve digital learning methods in teacher training.
NMY develops innovative VR solutions that train future teachers in realistic scenarios. Through immersive classroom simulations, users can experience experience conflict situations as they occur in everyday school life and learn how to deal with them professionally.
With the VR app from NMY, teachers actively participate in decision-making processes by choosing multiple-choice options in various conflict situations. Each decision influences the further course of the scenario, which enables a dynamic and individualised learning experience.
Through targeted feedback loops, the VR app analyses the behaviour of users in conflict situations and offers suggestions for improving reactions. This promotes the sustainable development of conflict management skills and optimally prepares teachers for real-life challenges.
