What started as a cool "wow" feature in 1980s movies has evolved into a deep yearning among consumers. It's more than just sitting in front of a screen and marveling at it as a spectator; it's about being right in the middle of these worlds and experiencing everything directly in the first person, up close and personal.

In the last ten years, the workflow for creating 3D assets has fundamentally changed. In the past, modeling and texturing were two distinct processes: first, the 3D model was built and optimized, then the UV map was created, and finally, the finished model was textured.

With today’s technology, contact lenses that display and enhance our vision seem possible. Reactions to AR lenses range from "crazy" to "impossible!" The first patents were filed in 1999, and a prototype was created in 2009 by the inventor of Google Glass. Recently, "Mojo Vision" raised over $100 million in funding. This article will explore the challenges this technology must overcome for successful commercialization and acceptance.

"Interaction" is a multifaceted term. In VR applications, it refers to the actions and reactions users experience, such as object manipulation, movement, and communication. How accurately can the real world be represented virtually? This article examines how real interactions are translated into virtual environments, the challenges involved, and where VR excels. We also offer insights into NMY's design process that facilitates this translation.
